This Week: Bible School
“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst!”
John 4: 14
Dear Friends,
We are off to a great start for Bible School. Our theme this year is Water Missions, and this morning we had some inspirational speakers coming from Water Missions to speak to the children. This week they are in for fun activities: music, a daily Bible verse, science experiments, great food and water activities outside.
There are three groups: The Hydo Heroes, The River Rescuers, and the Stream Team. They meander through the Gathering Well, the Discovery Dock, the Splash Zone, and the Oasis. On Friday there will be a village “walk for water,” a puppet show incorporating the Bible lessons we have learned during the week, a picnic, and a water slide. The children are encouraged to bring coins each day for the water jars.
Thank you to everyone who is working this week to make Bible School so meaningful for the children of our community. Thanks also to Water Missions for the T-shirts, buckets for the walk and the give-aways for the children.
Have a great week.
Blessings,
Mike
Please keep the families of those who perished in the flooding waters in Texas in your prayers.
