Dear Friends,

Sometimes when I tell folks our congregation is not “OLD,” they have a hard time believing it but … if you divide our 178 members into three groups from confirmation age (when they join the church) to our oldest members, the groups are almost equal. Sunday, another family joined with two nursery age children. Last Sunday we had 12 children and youth that were visitors. I’m hoping some of these families are prospective members. I share this info with you to remind you that our promise to “nurture our children in the faith” includes taking your turn in the nursery. We have relocated the nursery in order to keep all the MOM’S MORNING OUT children closer together. We are so blessed to have Cindy Dobson as our nursery coordinator but we need members of the congregation to take your turn in the nursery, and all of us should be making an effort to introduce ourselves to the new folks in worship each Sunday.
