Gratitude

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.”

Colossians 3:16

Dear Friends,

I can’t sing but I enjoyed hearing the children sing this week during Bible school. So, I can’t sing songs of gratitude, but I can share a few thoughts I have about how grateful I am for our ministry here at New Wappetaw:

  • I’m grateful for the leaders and ALL who helped with Bible school last week.
  • I’m grateful to the children and their parents who brought change and some bills to go in the water jugs, raising $608.07 for water missions. WOW!
  • I’m grateful for the growth in our church. Sunday we welcomed another new family and we celebrated two baptisms.
  • I’m grateful for the low country weather we have as I watch the news each night and see what other parts of the country are experiencing.
  • I’m grateful for our expanded missions initiatives as we continue to reach out in our community. We have a blood drive here next Monday, July 21, from 3:30 to 7:00pm.
  • I’m grateful for the use of the masonic lodge next door for our covered dish dinner. It’s nice to have more room.
  • I’m grateful for each of you and the many ways you all are involved in our ministry.

Blessings,

Mike
