New Wappetaw Presbyterian Church Wedding Policy
Marriage service shall be conducted under the direction of the Teaching Elder and supervision of the Session. Book of Order – W-4.9004
There shall be no charge for weddings of church members.
Marriages may be conducted by guest ministers if approved by the session.
Weddings of non-members shall be approved by the session. The fee for weddings of non-members shall be $300.
New Wappetaw’s minister or a church representative shall be present at all weddings.
The pianist/choir director shall be offered as providing music for all weddings. Music fees will be negotiated between the pianist and the wedding party.
No alcoholic beverages shall be consumed on church property.
